The price for the class is $100. The fee for notarizing your application is included.

Most of the course is lecture. There is no written test. There is no shooting test.

Please download a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit application from The Utah BCI website (http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/documents/ccwapp_001.pdf) and fill out your information. Do not sign the application until you are ready to have it notarized.

The Weapon Familiarity Certification (what you get for taking the Utah CCW class) is good for one year.

To complete the application process (not needed for the course), you will also need:

1. to get fingerprinted (ink, using the standard FBI "Blue" fingerprint card -- I have a limited number of cards available) -- most of the UPS Stores will do this for between $10-$20.

2. a passport sized color photo (also available form most UPS Stores for between $10-$20,.

3. a check to the Utah BCI.

I will give you a Certificate of Completion that you can use to show proof of firearms training if you wish to apply for a Florida CCW.
